Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using SkinPilot. By downloading, installing, or using the SkinPilot application or any associated services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use SkinPilot.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and SkinPilot ("we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of the SkinPilot mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you represent that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notice.

2. What SkinPilot Is — Not Medical Advice

SkinPilot is an AI-powered skincare companion designed to help you track daily habits, log observations about your skin, and receive general wellness guidance. It is intended for informational and motivational purposes only.

SkinPilot is NOT a medical device, and nothing in the Service constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional or dermatologist for any medical concerns, skin conditions, or before making changes to your health regimen. Do not delay seeking professional medical advice because of something you read or experienced in SkinPilot.

SkinPilot's AI companion may sometimes provide inaccurate or incomplete information. You should always use your own judgment and consult a professional for matters affecting your health.

3. Account Rules and Age Requirement

To use SkinPilot, you must be at least 13 years old. Users between 13 and 17 must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement.

You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your account.
• Keep your account credentials secure and not share them with others.
• Notify us immediately at hello@myskinpilot.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
• Maintain only one account per person.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Subscriptions, Pricing, and Billing

SkinPilot offers a free tier and a premium subscription called Glow Pro. Glow Pro is available at the following rates:

• Monthly: $9.99 per month
• Annual: $79.99 per year

New Glow Pro subscribers receive a 7-day free trial. You will not be charged until the trial period ends. You may cancel at any time during the trial without charge.

Billing is handled by Google Play. All subscription purchases, renewals, refunds, and cancellations are subject to Google Play's policies. SkinPilot does not directly process or store your payment information.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date. To cancel, use the subscription management screen in the Google Play app.

Prices are subject to change. We will provide reasonable notice of any price changes before they take effect.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use SkinPilot to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation.
• Harm, harass, impersonate, or defraud any person.
• Upload or transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful data.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts.
• Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Service without our written permission.
• Use the Service to distribute spam, unsolicited messages, or advertising.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of SkinPilot.
• Use the Service in any way that could damage, disable, or impair it.

We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action against anyone who violates these provisions, including suspending or terminating their account.

6. Intellectual Property

The SkinPilot name, logo, app design, written content, AI interactions, and all other materials in the Service are the intellectual property of SkinPilot or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of the personal data you submit (such as your skin logs and check-ins). By submitting content to SkinPilot, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to use that data solely to provide and improve the Service as described in our Privacy Policy.

Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from SkinPilot content without our express written consent.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:

• SkinPilot is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
• We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
• In no event shall SkinPilot, its officers, employees, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
• Our total cumulative liability to you for any claims arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) $10 USD.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you.

8. Termination

You may stop using SkinPilot and delete your account at any time from within the app or by contacting us at hello@myskinpilot.com.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we determine that you have violated these Terms or that your use poses a risk to us or other users.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, limitation of liability, and contact provisions) will continue to apply.
